Hiveforge: Xenogenesis

Play "Xenogenesis" in-browser!

The second public prototype in an ongoing series exploring creativity, simulation, and accessible coding systems.

Hiveforge is a set of small experiments aimed at developing a creative coding-simulation game. I’m a solo developer building tools that make programming feel approachable and strategic, using simple drag-and-drop block coding to drive complex behavior. Xenogenesis continues that exploration.

In this prototype, you design “xenotypes”—customizable alien units defined by their appearance and by the logic you build for them. Each unit inherits the code you write and runs it independently in the world.

Hiveforge: The Hazel Problem

Play "The Hazel Problem" in-browser!

The first public prototype in an ongoing development series exploring creativity, simulation, and the fantasy of being a coding god. Hiveforge is a collection of small prototypes that explore ideas for a creative coding-simulation game still in development. The Hazel Problem is an early experiment in that direction.

In this prototype, you’ll manage your hazel tree’s glucose production, deciding how much to invest in green mass, brown mass, and fruit. The goal is the same as all life: survive and reproduce. It uses an early version of the Hiveforge block-coding engine, built to test how far simple logic systems can go in simulating life.

GODBOX Concept Trailer

In September 2025, I created a concept trailer for a project I called Godbox, which went on to win First Place in the Blue Ocean Games Rising Tide Challenge. At the time, I was already developing a new kind of coding game, but the project didn’t yet have a defined direction. This trailer marked a pivotal moment: it showcased a compelling vision for what a coding-driven world simulation could become.

Godbox is a god-simulation coding game about balance and survival. Using intuitive drag and drop coding blocks, players shape how plants grow, animals behave, and how people survive. The sandbox nature of Godbox allows players to experiment as they try to balance a fragile ecosystem, resulting in impressively complex and often amusing webs of symbiosis. As you harness the faith of your followers, will you fight entropy, or become its agent?

Slime King: Origins

Play "Slime King: Origins"

Slime King: Origins is a fast-paced RPG-bullet hell hybrid that I developed solo in just one month for the 2024 RPG Game Jam—where it won first place! The game follows a dethroned king who has been cursed into the form of a slime, forced to battle through his own castle to reclaim his throne.

From programming and game design to art and music, I handled every aspect of development, ensuring a cohesive vision and polished experience within the jam’s tight timeframe. Winning the competition was a rewarding recognition of the work I put in, and I’m excited to keep building on the ideas explored in this project.

Pathfinder 2e: Age of Discord

Read Campaign Pitch

Age of Discord is a homebrew Pathfinder 2nd Edition campaign I devised and am currently running! It is the culmination of my love for tabletop roleplaying games, collaborative storytelling, and tactical combat!

For thousands of years, the Elyrian Empire, now known simply as "the old empire" controlled the continent of Ossa'dorei. The old empire solidified its power through zealous indoctrination and a strict control of magic. This method necessitated the alienation of what the empire called “lesser races''; populations of sentient species who possessed natural magic, worshiped unsanctioned deities, or were otherwise difficult to assimilate. In time, this alienation became the empire’s undoing.

Hundreds of years after the fall of the old empire, the continent is home to a great diversity of peoples, faiths and ideologies. Sure, roads between cities are no longer patrolled, the coasts are plagued by pirates and petty nobles wage warfare over the smallest of squabbles, but that is the price of freedom. Obviously, not everyone is happy. There are whispers of those who still work in the shadows for the return of the Elyrian Empire. It would be an inconvenient time for ancient, powerful, long suppressed magic to re-emerge.

Tokyo Takeover

Play "Tokyo Takeover"

Tokyo Takeover is a third person single-player stealth horror game where you play as a group of teen survivors attempting to escape a shopping mall overrun by blind vampirical mutants. Don’t make a sound! Sneak around a desolate neon landscape, loot abandoned stores, create diversions, and rescue party members.

This was my final project, and a culmination of what I learned at VFS. I had the opportunity to work in a team and go through each step of production of a game. I got to play various roles throughout production, including leading team meetings, designing levels, animating the quadruped enemies, and casting actors!
